Time, in my hands...

My clocks are one-of-a-kind sculptures created almost entirely from found objects. I use primarily aged wood for the structure, and add pieces of rusted metal, found or stained glass pieces, bits of old signs and other artifacts that I have collected over the years. Only the battery-operated quartz clock movements are new, which will keep excellent time.

I enjoy working with the once-beautiful things society has used up and cast away. I find my materials in abundance along the roadways, on beaches, in parking lots, or industrial areas and old farms. I am particularly drawn to the wide variety of subtle, muted colors to be found in objects made of weathered wood and ancient metals—and the stories they might tell if they could speak.

Thank you for your interest in my clocks. Enjoy the times they tell - to you.
